In 2025, I was invited by Creative Code Art to present a generative audiovisual set at the Bogotá Experimental Film Festival as part of Expanded Code Live. The program brought together artists from across Latin America working with code-based art.
EXP_BOG.ECL is a 40-minute performance exploring the life cycle of a synthetic consciousness through five continuous movements. Sound and visuals emerge from the same system, evolving in real time and never repeating the same way.
The audio was created with VCV Rack and Arturia Microfreak, combining random sequences, drones, and granular delays. Visuals were generated in Unreal Engine, where audio data modulated geometry, light, particles, and camera via OSC. The system creates a fully integrated, live generative environment.
The performance premiered on August 29, 2025, at the Cinemateca de Bogotá, closing the second day of the festival. Audio and visuals ran seamlessly, delivering a fully immersive, unique experience for the audience.
This project solidified my workflow integrating generative music, visual systems, and algorithmic architecture, and continues to inspire new works in development
