OWN COMPOSITION is the result of a deep collaboration between sound and visual experimentation. Created together with Camil Camil, this album merges generative ambient music with a visual language born from the same core: noise — not as a musical genre, but as a creative principle.
For years, I’ve been developing generative systems through algorithmic programming: particle simulations, procedural graphics, and code-based compositions that evolve organically. This time, I translated those same systems into sound. The algorithms were converted into control voltage (CV) signals, powering a modular synth and VCV Rack setup. The result was a chaotic yet coherent sound environment: drones, granular textures, and arrhythmic sequences shaped by random modulation.
Camila’s voice and synths added a human, emotional counterpoint to the mechanical unpredictability of the system. The session was recorded live in Mexico City on April 5, 2024 — an improvisational dialogue between structure and spontaneity.
The visual artwork and animations were generated using the same sound data. Music shaped particles, visual noise, and synthetic forms that expanded like a neural network. Each piece is both a track and a visual threshold — a living system where sound and image are intrinsically connected.
